Hi All
I am fairly new at all this but am trying to find out more about the Playing Fields Camp at Carterhatch Lane in Enfield.
My Husbands father was placed there under the Polish Resettlement corp registration date 5th October 1947
His Name was Stanislaw Syp Army Number 30053496 rank PTE (Private) sadly he died in 1952 and the family were forbidden to speak of him after my husband mum remarried.
if anyone can give me any information finding more about this camp and those that resided there around that time would be so grateful.
