Has any one had trouble contacting the Polish Enqiries section lately?
I have tried a few times but only received an answer phone message. I have not received a call back as of this morning.
Is it possible that the section is being wound down slowly or it is manned part time?

I have still not raised contact with the Polish Enquiries section at Northolt, apart from the recorded message, which I received many times.
Has anyone any idea on the status of the section? Strange that the answer machine is still running though!

Hello Alan,
Thank you for the interest shown in my enquiry re Scottish Camps ( Signals Div ).
We telephoned Northolt last Tuesday and spoke to Mrs Kroll ( our usual contact ) on 02088338603. We have tended to phone between 09-00 and 11-00 so maybe mornings are better.

Thanks for the tele number for Northolt.
I am not sure why the tele number I noted is different ( 020 8450 9973). I took it off one of the older forums on this site! Maybe I noted it incorrectly!
Regards Alan

Hi, At last, I spoke to the lady at Polish Enquiries.. Apparently, as Bernard Klugmann had served with 618 MGD at Belsen. He was classed as being in the British Army and not the Polish Army!
Anyway, she was very helpful and set me on the track to Glasgow, where the Army records are kept.
Thanks to everyone who passed on information.
